Kicking Bear ProAm Turkey hunt in Missouri

Bighorn Outdoors is selling tickets for the Kicking Bear ProAm Turkey Hunt. You could win the chance to hunt longbeards with one of ten outdoor personalities May 1-3 in Missouri. Hosted by Treetop Outfitters and Tombstone Creek Outfitters, ten lucky hunters will hunt and participate in a variety of outdoor activities over the three day period while having their experience filmed for an upcoming episode of their celebrity partner's television show. Each hunt package includes meals and accommodations. Each of the ten winners will also receive a call package from Commando Hunting Products and a Team Bighorn Outdoors cap. All proceeds go to support Kicking Bear One-on One.

Tickets for this event are for sale for $20 each. To purchase tickets call Tom King, (614)-565-8751. The names of the ten winners will be drawn March 28, 2009 at the Kicking Bear banquet in Onalaska, WI. As a special bonus, with each ticket sold a $25 gift card for Nikon Sport Optics is included until the supply of those cards runs out. ABOUT KICKING BEAR
The goal of Kicking Bear is to enrich the lives of young people through outdoor experiences. Using archery and outdoor activities young people are taught positive life lessons and are paired with adult mentors to help them navigate the often tough times they face while growing up. Kicking Bear was founded by legendary bowhunter Ray Howell. Ray is the recipient of the 2008 Muzzy Tall Man Award, the 2007 Outdoor Life Reader's Choice Most Influential Sportsman Awards, and the 2007 Pope and Young Stewardship Award. Thousands of disadvantaged young people each year have their lives changed and gain an appreciation for the outdoors and hunting heritage by attending Kicking Bear events. Jackson County Bowhunters of jackson Ohio once again held an outstanding fundraising event for our youth program. Leading the way was Beau Kearns / Vice President, and Jim Bevins by collecting donations for Target Sponsors. Jered Warren, and Doug Duhl / President, also helped put it together.

Jackson Bowhunters Club in Jackson, Ohio will be hosting the second annual 3D Archery Tournament. The Club welcomed us with open arms last year and helped us raise a pretty fair amount of money for the kids camp. Doug Duhl was even going to donate the money from the pop machine. We truly felt like we were treated like family. This year we're expecting an even larger turnout. There will be Door prizes, Raffles, Card shoots, and other fun activities to take part in. Come out shoot your best, and support our Youth Program.
